Causes

 

 

 


FBC, blood film, platelet count; creatinine, urea, electrolytes.

Infection, especially 

  • Shigella sp
  • Shiga toxin - producing Escherichia coli .

Faeces - microscopy, culture and antigen detection.

 

Molecular genetics - microbial for Shiga toxin.

Drugs, Including cyclosporin
