FBC, differential WCC, blood film. Lymph node (FNAB or excision) biopsy or tissue biopsy. Cell immunophenotyping, lymphocyte typing - diagnosis, classification and prognosis established by histology and immunophenotyping. Additional diagnostic and prognostic information from cytogenetics and molecular genetics on biopsy specimen: protein (total), albumin, protein electrophoresis, immunoglobulins G, A, M, paraprotein analysis, LD, beta-2-microglobulin. Bone marrow aspiration and trephine biopsy for staging and/or diagnosis. |
