The diagnosis of renal parenchymal calcification is based on findings at diagnostic imaging.

Assessment includes: electrolytes, creatinine, urea, calcium, phosphate.

Urine - calcium, pH.

Hypercalcaemia

Hypercalciuria

Hyperphosphataemia

Primary hyperoxaluria

Renal tubular acidosis

Sarcoidosis
