| Interpretation | Patients presenting with clinical features of non-ketotic hyperglycinaemia (hypotonia myoclonus, lethargy in the first week of life, progressive spastic diplegia in late onset form) may not actually show hyperglycinaemia. CSF glycine and CSF/plasma glycine ratio are more definitive. |
